About me
Ok, you found me. So I finally decided to put together my own web site to update some
of my long-lost friends and tell anyone else who may wander in here a little about myself.
(BTW, I will not apologize for any cat pictures.)
As my day job, I co-own a small software company called
DTLink Software. I started DTLink with my
friend Yermo Lamers back in 1997, after we had both left
a previous employer. I am the creator of the award-winning
Personal Stock Monitor investment
tracking software, as well as AnswerTool
and FAQTool, both of which were released in 2002, and
NeoPhoto, released in 2003.
I'm currently working on several projects at the same time, including OEM and retail versions of
Personal Stock Streamer, which is based
on our award-winning Personal Stock Monitor software.
As far as hobbies, I've always liked biking and rollerblading, but in the summer of
2000 my SO (now wife) suggested
that we should try kayaking. I was reluctant at first, but got hooked pretty quickly. The
picture to the right, which I shot, is from one of our trips down to the Florida Keys in
February 2001. It was taken with a Nikon CoolPix 990. Now I won't claim to know anything about
photographic equipment, but this is a pretty nice digital camera.
